How to keep my t-shirts from pilling?

For those looking to prevent pilling on their t-shirts, a helpful tip is to turn them inside out before washing either by hand or in a machine. It's recommended to opt for a delicate or hand washing cycle to minimize movement during the cleaning process. It's important to keep in mind that if you have 100% cotton t-shirts, washing them at high temperatures may cause them to shrink. When washing darker colored shirts, use cold water, while white shirts can be washed at 30 degrees or 40 degrees if necessary. To keep your t-shirts pill-free, it's best to avoid using a clothes dryer and instead hang them to dry. During the summer, hanging them outside will result in the quickest drying time. In the winter months, hang them inside while ensuring the room is well-ventilated to prevent moisture buildup.
